The Orpheum

Jeff Haltom was the engineer of record for the mechanical system renovation that expanded the Orpheum Stage and add new dressing rooms in the late 1990’s.  This allowed major Broadway Plays to also play in Memphis on Beale Street.  The project involved the replacement of the cast iron and wooden fan originally installed in 1928 that served the entire building. The Orpheum was the first centrally air-conditioned building in the City of Memphis.
